Hybrid Switching Capacity

The EKI-2718E-2CI combines high local port density with high-performance fiber uplink capabilities. It offers 16 Fast Ethernet ports complemented by 2 x Combo Gigabit ports (RJ45 or SFP). This flexibility allows for aggregating traffic from numerous devices and transmitting it at high speed via 100/1000 Mbps SFP modules over distances that can reach several tens of kilometers.

Endurance in Critical Environments

This switch is designed for maximum reliability under temperatures ranging from -40 to 75°C. It is equipped with 6 kV LAN surge protection and a redundant 12 ~ 48 VDC power system. Its IP30 rugged metal chassis guarantees effective protection against vibrations, shocks, and electromagnetic disturbances common in industrial environments.

Quality of Service Management

To guarantee the priority of critical data flows, the EKI-2718E-2CI integrates a QoS function and broadcast storm protection activatable by DIP Switches. It also offers segmentation via port-based VLAN to isolate networks. Installation is facilitated by a pull-down DIN-rail mounting kit, allowing for clean and fast integration into industrial control cabinets.
