The Advantech PPC-312S ASL is a 12-inch industrial Panel PC designed to meet the demands of the most rigorous environments. It is powered by an Intel Atom x7433RE quad-core processor, clocked up to 3.4 GHz, offering robust performance for critical industrial applications. Its entirely fanless design ensures quiet operation, enhanced reliability, and minimal maintenance by preventing dust accumulation. This Panel PC supports up to 16 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM, ensuring smooth task execution. For storage, it features an M.2 2242/2280 slot and offers an option for a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD. It is compatible with Linux, Windows 10, and Windows 11 operating systems, providing significant software flexibility.
High-Brightness and Robust Touch Display
This Panel PC features a 12-inch TFT LCD screen with an XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 and a 4:3 aspect ratio. It benefits from a high brightness of 500 nits and a contrast ratio of 1000, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright ambient light conditions. The screen features capacitive touch technology for precise and responsive interaction. Its front panel is IP66 certified, providing superior protection against dust and water jets, making it ideal for harsh environments. The viewing angles of 89/89/89/89 ensure optimal readability from various positions. An integrated speaker is also present for applications requiring audio output.
Extended Connectivity and Expansion Capabilities
The Advantech PPC-312S ASL is equipped with comprehensive connectivity for easy integration into any industrial system. It features two Ethernet ports for reliable network connections. For peripherals, it offers three USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port. Additionally, it includes two RS-232/422/485 serial ports, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial equipment. A DisplayPort output is available to extend the display. For wireless connectivity, options such as WiFi 6 (IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 are available. The system also offers robust expansion options with two M.2 slots, one Mini PCI-E Full-Size expansion, and options for PCI or PCI Express expansions (with accessory), as well as optional iDoor compatibility. Its power supply is 24 VDC and its power consumption is optimized at approximately 35 W.

Based on the Mini PCIe format, these modules allow system integrators to precisely choose the I/O functions they need, thus avoiding the acquisition of expensive equipment with superfluous features. iDoor modules offer great flexibility for integrating various capabilities, including industrial Fieldbus protocols (such as Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, Powerlink), memory and storage expansions, wired or wireless communication options (Wi-Fi, 3G, LTE, GPS, RFID, Bluetooth), and digital and analog I/Os.
